In the event of "TC the Movie", who would you like to do the soundtrack, ideally? Put forward your preferences - a professional soundtrack composer a la John Williams, a band, other artist, etc...

What do you think, fellow Watchpersons? Is there someone in particular who you think would provide a worthy soundtrack?

Even, ermmm.., Bannor agreed with me that the British band, Camel could provide the soundtrack 2 a TC movie! They did the soundtrack 2 The Snow Goose w/Richard Harris and Julie Christie--2 hear some of their songs go 2:www.camelproductions.com

now my preference would be some tunes by Pink Floyd and some by Loreena McKennitt; now that would be magnificent

I always thought it would be funny to have a song to the tune "Can't Touch This" for "Don't Touch Me". |T -jay

"Don't Touch Me"  Good one! I can hear Disturbed playing whenever Fleshharrowers' army is chasing Hile Troys'. 'Down with the Sickness' or 'Stupify' would do nicely.

I personally think Ensiferum would do a good job...

Stupify!

ROFL Uncomfortably Numb :D Camel! U guys have taste :) Camel'd be good.. circa Snow Goose or Rain Dances. I'd also love to see what some of these might make of a TC OST

Mike Oldfield
Tangerine Dream
Randy Edelman [Last of the Mohicans.. nice]
Dead Can Dance
Rick Wakeman

Opinions welcome :)

The more I listen 2 "Sad but True" by Metallica the more I'm convinced it should be the lead in song 2 Lord Foul's Bane the movie. Definately describes TC's plight w/the unmerciful grittiness of LF slamming him 2 the stone. Give it a listen or 2-then get back 2 me...

that Creed song about dreams and Lord Mhoram

You know that one Creed song, about dreaming and heaven and making the earth and dreams the same?? That song is absolutely perfevt for our beloved Son of Variol!

Excuse me, but music (with lyrics) by a band would completely ruin a Covenant movie. I mean, here we are in this magical fantasy world full of profound things, and suddenly we hear a pop song (from Earth)? Just because a song is good doesn't mean it should be put into a movie.
Some people wanted Led Zeppelin music in the LOTR movie. Can you imagine what it would have been like? It would have completely destroyed the atmosphere!

Just my 2 silver pieces.

Matter of opinion...I just said lead in song--that means credits--anyway the beginning of LFB DOES take place on earth, but like u I would want everything that happens in the Land 2 b instramental. You mean 2 tell me Enya isn't singing words in LOTR/FOTR?

She is (in the credits), and that actually bothered me a bit. Heh. OK, I know, it's not so important. Anyway, I don't think a Covenant movie would be a good idea.

I think either Jeremy Soule or Jack Wall would do wonders. Atmospheric, haunting background scores, that speak directly to the emotions.

You figured out how to actually buy the CD?

Somehow the metal concept for TCTC actually makes sense ;)
