I think it was MG-friend's turn .. but hey .. what the heck I'll take his shot and my question is .. what was Angus' greatest fear???
P.S. re: poll .. state your reason for your choice of character ..
No apology necessary...

...I am grateful you pulled this topic over from the other board...as much as I am in favor of the move, when I think about all the great stuff over at the other site...(sniff...

...where's the frowney with the tear)...well bit by bit we'll get it over here. Where was I?? Oh, yeah.
Glad you pulled over this stuff. Shall I answer your question? Yes.
Angus' greatest fear was "the crib".
While you decide if I'm correct, let me think about the next question?
It occurred to me today (08 April 2002) that we should probably post a Spoiler Alert here...just in case.
So if you have not finished The Gap Series and you are Spoiler Sensitive then
BEWARE...SPOILERS ABOUND!!!!!!
I fear you may be right ...

haha .. lmao!! I thought it was EVA .. but it was the crib wasnt it? The two fears were related somehow weren't they? hehe .. what a jerk .. (I am

) hehe .. yep .. good job .. and your question is??

You should have added another option, namely "nobody". So it looks like Mikka wins hands down.
I picked Min Donner

Any1 who could put up w/Hashi's and Warden Dio's crap, manipulations and shananigans and still keep a straight face and do her job 2 the best of her abilities has my vote. Morn did an awesome job of surviving but Min did a pretty dam good job of keeping her head and the Universe from xploding....
Yeah

Yeah I have to agree .. Min Donner maintained her intergrity character throughout all the crap she endured .. she acted bona fide throughout the story ..
.. Mikka was also cool .. I haven't finished the series yet .. so I guess things still might change ..
Alright, you guys...get back on topic

This is Gap Trivia for Dummies 2. If you are going to get all intellectual and debate the relative merits of the characters in the books, you need to find another thread.
That said, what's my question?
What does EVA stand for?
(I am not sure it is fair for Sky, who is not a jerk, even if he call himself one, to answer this question.)
mmm

by Skyweir
well you are right it is not fair because it is too easy .. and it is a question we have already answered on the 'Gap Trivia for dummies' (1)
and Hearthcoal ... I refrain from calling myself a jerk as a general rule .. and usually only in private .. unless for some unimaginable reason .. I have actually been a jerk ..
however .. jackass .. is a tale of a different kind ..
but out of them all .. I think I prefer 'sky'

Well, strictly speaking...

...we did not answer the EVA question in the Gap Trivia for Dummies 1, but we did answer it in one of the Gap discussions. So I will give you a point for remembering that.
I could add a link here...but I won't

You'll have to settle for a wink instead.
(Perhaps when you referred to jackass, you meant a "tail" of a different kind?)
OK, gotta go...puns and rhymes mean bed time for Hearthcoal.
What a poll!

Man, only three people have voted so far??? What's up with that?
I vote for Morn. She went through a lot.
EVA stands for "extra-vehicular activity", I think.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!

In fact Aliantha is correct: EVA stands for Extravehicular Activity.
So the honor of the next question goes to Ally.
Danlo will now take his external vacuum apparatus and "hoover" the carpets in Hearthcoal's quarters aboard Starfare's Gem (someone really should start a TCTC trivia page back on that discussion board).
Ur right OH MY GOD!!!

When do I start cleaning! I'm so embarassed! I've got ur EVA right here!

Posted: Thu Jan 01, 1970 12:00 am
by Skyweir
its obvious what Danlo wants to do with his EVA (external vaccuum aparatus!!!???) .. and methinks it has nothing to do with cleaning
.. that naughty Danlo!!

Is this the place to put in a link to the reference about the erection of the colossus?
(

I could not help myself.)
Ally - save us! Post a question.
(Meanwhile - Hearthcoal will retire to the galley, with Seasauce, so as to avoid any appearance of impropriety.)
oh-oh...

Um, okay, let's see...
Hey, wait just a darn minute, there, Hearthcoal -- how did you rate carpeting in your room?
Anyway...(jeez, here I am at work, with not a single copy of an SRD book anywhere nearby, let alone the Gap series....) Wait! I know!
This question was prompted by reading "Bridging the Gap," the web-posted critique of the series that somebody helpfully put on this board in another thread: Who the heck is Liete? (Please understand that it's been years since I read the Gap series. Thank you.)

by Hearthcoal
Good question! So who's got the answer???
Posted: Thu Jan 01, 1970 12:00 am
by amanibhavam
Liete Correggio is Nick Succorso's third-in-command
Posted: Thu Jan 01, 1970 12:00 am
by danlo
So what ur question, dearie?!

Posted: Thu Jan 01, 1970 12:00 am
by robo
Liete is the lady with black wind flowing through her. She sacrifices Nick's ship (and herself) to save him.
Edit: specifically she rams it into the Amnion ship during the escape from The Bill.
