I'm not talking about objectionable/offensive content. Can I, for example, do a clickable picture for my avatar?

Can I put a clickable picture in my signature? Can it be to something I am selling?

IMO, if you're a regular poster and you're not obnoxious about it then I don't care.

I wouldn't see any problem with it. Though I don't like people having tall images in sigs, heh.

Many of us have had a clickable picture in our signatures for well over a year. The Furls Fire item links back to the eulogy thread that Fist began and which concludes with Tracie's farewell letter to all of us.

I'm sure we had guidelinesfor sigs somewhere - but essentially as ong as it's not to large (height, width, size) and doesn't cause offense or link to offensive content then I'd think it's fine. If it links t something you're personally connected with tht's fine too but not t some adclick pay thing if that makes sense.

i find Clowns offensive...

What Vain said. Horizontal banners are better for sigs than vertical pics.

There's no way to make your avatar clickable though.
