The Dromond's appearance?

Help, help, a landlubber in distress. I'm trying to find some references and inspiration for Starfare's Gem, me, who has never so much as doodled a rowboat. Aside from the fact that the illustration on the paperpack cover of TOT is about the size of a malnourished flea, I don't exactly trust the covers (I mean Honninscrave in the original WGW? Don't remember the villain disintegrating his whole apparel, including underpants, before sealing him into the floor. No wonder Linden's expression is what it is.).

The original meaning of dromon refers to a Byzantine warship, but this one was supposed to bear three masts with the same amount of sails in each. A full-rigged ship appears to fit this description best (yes, also somewhat close to the model on the cover). However, at this point, any opinions might help.

Thanks in advance! :)

I remember when Mom scanned those and posted them. They are from "Atlas of the Land". :)

Ah. Of course I forgot to look in the Laborium. Well, this one certainly gives the general outline, although it's quite rudimentary (have to google for more detailed reffs, now that I at least know what I'm seeking).

Been keeping an eye on Ebay and Amazon for used copies of "The Atlas of the Land", but so far the prices haven't much allured me.

Love Blackhawk's illustrations. :D

Thanks, everyone! :D

Not to mention, the Ship is made of stone

Forget Revelstone, I wanna sail in that stone ship!
