Here we can all post poems and other stuff about our beloved AT-ATs! :Hail:

Ode to an AT-AT (slighly modified from The meaning of life)
Oh AT-AT...
Oooh you are so big...
So absolutely huge.
Gosh, we are all really impressed down here I can tell you.
Forgive us, O AT-AT, for this our dreadful toadying.
And barefaced flattery.
But you are so strong and, well, just so super.
Fan-tastic.

I decided to move this here, so that no one thinks this tread is in anyway connected to those foul two-legged versions...

Imperial All Terrain Armoured Transport walkers
Number of legs: four (not two or three. Five is right out).
Shielding: heavy armour cladding (making them invulnerable to all but the heaviest turbo laser weaponry) that absorbes and dissipate.
Energy source: inner reactor.
Weaponry: blaster targeting rangefinder with medium blaster cannon, class II heavy laster cannon (that is those lovely guns under the jaw).
Capacity for soldier transport: up to 40 snowtroopers.
Sensors: terrain sensor computer, impulse terrain sensor (both these in the feet), targeting computers, forward sensors.
Best details: toe flap and knee joint brake.

I think that all AT-ST (all terrain scout transport walkers) should be taken apart and be rebuilt as AT-ATs. Who is with me?

And, apparently, lightsabers. :)

There are to few poems about AT-AT, so I have to steal some for them. I suppose you all know where this came from...

Walk, AT-AT:
Walk faster, play -
power up and let the shield gleam.
You are the marrow of the metal.
No rein will curb, or bit control -
no light saber unpunished rend;
no fuel be lost without a shock absorber.
We are the Stormtroopers, born to serve:
Technichans curry,
Speeder Bikers protect,
Snowtroopers hearth and bed anneal-
our feet do not bear our hearts away.
Metal-grown footpads, and forehead pilots,
knee-joints and class II heavy laser cannons bloom:
regal AT-AT, walk and walk faster -
We serve the assault carriers of the Sky,
the toe flaps of the World.

At-Ats are so cool. I like the one outside of the Star Tours ride at MGM studios theme park in Orlando. :-)

The bloody thing seems to only be a full scale mock up. I'd have already climbed into the cockpit if it was a working model. :-)

I really think someone should start selling "My little AT-AT"-kits complete with storm troopers an a resistance movement to trample " Muuummyyy I want an AT-AT for X-mas. It's sooo cuuute" ;)

Soo, how do you like my little X-mas AT-AT with a nice christmas tree to stomp down into the snow...?

(How come that this VERY IMPORTANT thread has fallen so far down in the line... I can't think of why.... Really, I can't)

That is a terrific Avatar. Very festive and menacing. Look out little tree! Well done. :-)

The scene of the Walker's rending reminds me of a Petra song : "Get On Your Knees And Fight Like A Man".

AT-AT's are the best. I hope we see some of them in Epi III. I hope they title the Movie "Star Wars Episode III: The Attack of the At-At's, and some curious insignificant changes in Anaken's life."

LOL! Well, that would be a sight!

The entire StarWars suite should be renamed I think:
The AT-AT Wars or possible Star AT-ATs...

Episode 1: The phantom AT-AT
Episode 2: The Attac of the AT-ATs
Episode 3: The second attac of the AT-ATs
Episode 4: A new AT-AT
Episode 5: The AT-ATs strike back
Episode 6: The return of the AT-AT

The Evok-movie could go under the name My little AT-ATs, it was rather cute...

Here are some title changes I'd make:

Episode 1: A Boy and his AT-AT
Episode 2: Four Weddings and an AT-ATs
Episode 3: AT-AT: Revolutions
Episode 4: Dude, Where's my AT-AT?
Episode 5: One Flew Over The AT-AT's Coop
Episode 6: A Beautiful AT-AT
