Well, they're all short, quick reads. Not that they're not full of great wisdom, beauty, and magic, mind you. Some of the best stuff ever!

Holsety, not sure what you're aware of, so here's the books:
A Wizard of Earthsea
The Tombs of Atuan
The Farthest Shore
Tehanu
Dragonfly (Which is in a collection called Tales From Earthsea
The Other Wind

If it's possible, Dragonfly and The Other Wind are even better than all that came before. And, though not part of the main story arc, the other Tales are great, and a couple are fantastic!

I remember trying to read The Other Wind and Failing, or I think that's how it went anyway.

Dragonfly and The Other Wind have special meaning to me, thanks to Plains of Ra. But even without that connection, those stories are incredible and the best of the series, in my opinion.

Well it was a glorified popularity contest. You have to expect a lot of bad taste. Just be thankful the rule against horror or YA fiction kept Twilight from being included.

Song of Ice and Fire was ranked a little lower than expected, other than that, no surprise there.

I wonder how many people who voted had actually read The Lord of the Rings.... it just seems like one of those books that everyone will list as a classic but no one has read.
