I had a bad day because I had to have my kitty put to sleep. Her face was so disfigured from cancer I didn't even take a picture for the last several months. But she was still sweet and cuddly and we all cried. *sigh* :(

Okay, now I'm off to visit the "What's the funniest thing you've ever seen" thread.

Sorry to hear about the cat. Every pet owner knows that someday he might haver to make a hard decison. Whenever I had to I was comforted that suffering would come to an end.

Anyways, let me join the carawan of misery. I hate self pity, but I have a massive infection in my throat. It's either the left tonsil and it's hurting all the up to the teeth in my lower jaw OR it's an infected tooth root sending pain and infection all the way down to the tonsils. What ever it is, I feel like my left tonsil is about to burst and the wisdom tooth in the lower left jaw is being pushed up slowly ... won't go to the ER tonite (it's 10:15 pm here). I gotta see a doctor tomorrow morning if I make through the night. Hope the wine's gonna kill at least some of the pain.

That sucks, Vader. My understanding of the matter is that such things are generally wisdom tooth related. Good luck with that.

Sorry about your lose, deer :(

I'd recommend codeine if you've got any, Vader. Altho not with wine...

So sorry about your cat, Deer - I had to go through that earlier this year and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done even knowing that it was the only option. |G

Vader - if it's tooth-related, a dentist will probably make you take antibiotics for a week before they touch it, so don't put it off. (On the bright side, it'll hurt a lot less when the infection starts going down.)

Sorry, Vader!! I had a migraine a few days ago that concentrated in my left sinus, it even hemorrhaged some. That was not fun. Feel better!!

Hugs to Deer of the Dawn. And HLT.

And a stiff drink to Vader. And uh, not to presume anything about your lifestyle, but if you, uh, partake, now might be an appropriate time to do so.

Sick or not, as long as I'm still standing I won't refuse a drink. Btw - feeling a tad better now without a doctor. Sage is a potent herb if it comes to dealing with infections.

A few years ago at an exclusive garden party one of my colleagues rolled her own and the smell was obvious. Some of the distinguished folks starred at her in disbelief. She just smiled and said "It's all cool, folks. It's just Russian rosemary."

Today I had a migraine which for the first time in my life caused me to miss work.

Driving to work, the visual disturbance popped up in the center of my field of vision. I white-knuckled it to school, scanning right and left so I wouldn't miss anything. By the time I reached school it was like light sabers waving in my eyes and I collapsed on the teacher's room sofa. I never even made it to my classroom, I passed off my keys to another teacher-- thank God I have a student teacher and she was ready to take over for the day.

My husband picked me up and took me to the doctor, but there's not much to be done. I came home and slept most of the day. Which is totally not like me.

I'm up now and just feeling blah, and wishing it all hadn't been so dramatic. I was just completely freaked out about losing control of my existence because I couldn't see.

Hoping tomorrow is better.

See, I really don't like narcotics. I might as well go home and sleep it off because I'm no good for anything when I'm on drugs anyway. But thanks. :?

And thanks for the  ali. Feeling much better today.
