Behold! Orb, Sceptre, Throne!

Post by Orlion »

www.amazon.co.uk/Orb-Sceptre-Throne-Mal ... G0SVHU9DLD

Covers as always are 'meh', but we shall find out what that Ironmonger was after! (I hope... his story seemed to drop off to make room for Rake's, for some odd reason  ) Since this is the Darjustan novel foretold of old, I have determined that I ought to read/re-read at least three novels:

Gardens of the Moon
Toll the Hounds
Stonewielder

I am so behind on my Malazan. I haven't read Stonewielder, and I'm still only about 100 pages into Dust of Dreams in the "main series."

Hood's breath! Look at the Dramatis Personae! Yeah, nice to see Lady Envy. But the Seguleh! The Second and Third, neither one Mok. Maybe he's the First now?! And Caladan Brood and Topper. :D

One name is conspicuously absent...

Only one? We have absent from the Dramatis Personae list: Karsa, Samar Dev, one of the Nom brothers, Stonny, her son, Kallor, and Traveller. I imagine the Andii are either gone by now or just not really in the area.

Yes, but this character is particularly, specifically associated with Darujhistan.

Now, are talking human, or otherwise? Because Raest and Tufty aren't on the list, and neither is K'rul (though he hasn't figured much into the books lately). The only other person I can think of right now is Coll, but he's hardly important, being a politician and all.

I'm talking about Kruppe! I guess it's possible he's in the book but not in the Dramatis Personae.

He's on the second page, the last one on the Phoenix Inn Regulars Group and right before the bold "At the Spawn", silly (he's also in the prologue.)

:haha: Thank you. I skimmed that, expecting him to be In Darujhistan. After all the people who have seen all he's done, how can he be seen as just a regular at the Phoenix Inn?
