But if it's available anywhere as an ebook, doesn't that mean it's gettable anywhere? I mean, it's the internet. Piratebay, or whatever.

Not gonna do that. If I had a Kindle, I might be able to download it from amazon.uk. I have to assume there's no corresponding nook.uk site, tho. Sigh...

arg. well glad you were the guinea pig on that but sad that we can't get it.
grrrrrrrr. why does uk get it so far in advance of us?

how come when an author publishes in 2 different countries the pub dates are different? is it because the markets are different? like...don't we have mostly the same kind of holiday markets and stuff as the uk? (xmas valentines, etc)
if the markets are different and that's why the pub dates are different, what's the diff?

this is probably evident but if someone can explain it to me i'd be grateful.
thx.

Different publishers have different schedules. They'll pick their dates based on their own internal processes, other books they have coming out, other other publishers in that region have coming out (like if something with a similar name or similar content is coming out they might move it to avoid conflict)...

They had better hurry I've only got the rest of TTH, DoD, and the CG left in my re- read. I suppose I could hit the novellas again, but when all you've got are the same old crackers you begin to crave cheese.

I would have kept Moraine dead.
But that's hardly Sanderson's fault.

Nah, but after all that build-up to the Tower, it was only a small part of the book really.

It'll be interesting to see whether the title spelling is Americanized when it's released here. (I.e., scepter instead of sceptre.)
