Kevin's Watch

The young cop hustles you ladies in, dumps you off at the first officer he sees, and gets the hell out of there.

You are escorted to a room, not an interrogation room, and asked again descriptions about "The Man" and what he said, what happened.

The officer leaves, and says "I'll be back with the sketch artist, can I get you ladies anything, coffee, tea, pop for the kid?"

[Nothing to add.]

"Some smokes and a beer."

The cop snickers at your request and leaves.

Minutes later a well dressed man enters and has a seat...



"Good afternoon ladies. Normally I love small talk, but an associate of mine tells me there is someone..like ourselves, in this city, and he's determined to make mischief."

"These humans have come so far, but still so blind to the world around them. Willfully ignoring what they see..."

Smiling he adds "My apologies, I'm Barry Young, attorney at law."

[You remember hearing the name, radio ads, he's a defense attorney, not with any major firm]

Looking for a reaction he continues "During the War, I was a general under the Morningstar, fought to bring enlightenment to the poor blind people we were sheparding. I escaped our prison 6 years ago by their standards, and alot has changed. We lost. We were wrong. Now I'm trying to help the ones we fought so strongly for. Bring them to something better."

"And I want this guy, before he makes the same mistake we made."

Seeing neither of the ladies is willing to talk.

"Fine, we will cross paths again."

As he gets up to leave, a guy in his early 20s, dyed black hair and a lip ring is brought it, sits across from you both.
