Do you think the prequels should have been made?

What do you think? Do you reackon they shouldn't have even bothered, and left the saga with the first three films? Or do you love them, and think that there wouldn't be a saga without them?

A lot of people think that they should have just left it, because the prequels do not match the quality of the older films. Does anyone here take this point of view?

yeah I take that point of view.
that the quality of films do not match, but as for the story, it definately needed told just not 20 years after the original,

I think I managed to watch one of the prequels all the way through in one sitting. Oh, yes, that was the first prequel. One time. Now I remember, it was in a theater, so I kind of had to.
Not made? Well, they made megabucks and made a lot of people relatively happy.

I think that they should have just left it. Because the new ones are a bit rubbish IMO.

Yes, the prequels should have been made, but not by George Lucas. I was eager for the movies, but I couldn't have known how badly Lucas would botch things up. In hindsight, he should have let someone else take the directing helm, like he did with Empire and Jedi.

If Lucas had talked to ME before hand then yeah the prequels should've been made but noooo he didn't so pfffftttt <spit included> all over GL for screwing up a great saga. But the history of the empire is the only thing I agree with...
But Annie! should be rewritten and JAR JAR NEEDS TO DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE

I so agree with you there Seafoam... I would have left it to the fans to decide what happens... He destroyed the entire saga
