I have little PTO left this year (though what I have used was used very well, for the first time in several years)

Ok, the ins are starting to roll in... hee hee. I'm thinking hotel because a house rental would give us limited rooms so more likely 3-4 per room which would give us a lot less privacy if we were two to a room. Having been to several fests I can attest to needing some down time and/or privacy. Hotel may be a much better option in the long run.

Agreed to having retreat space such as a hotel. One of the reasons that I stayed where I did in June.
