Does anyone have Barlowe's Guide to Fantasy. One of the entries is Drool Rockworm. The painting is excellent - just how I imagined Drool.

Basically it's an a-z of fantasy creatures and characters from fantasy. Barlowe is an artists and does a painting for each one. There's also text in the entry. As far as I know it's ver hard to find; I managed only get a copy in one of those bargain book stores. It's worth trying to find.

That's right - only Drool. In the picture he's holding the staff of law and the Illearth Stone. I can scan it and send it via an email if anyone wants to see it. There's also a great painting of Covenant and Atiaran walking through Andelain - I found that in a book about various worlds in fantasy.

Any chance you could post those on the Watch site? I'm sure we'd all love to see them.

Awesome book. I don't know that it matched my vision of what a cavewight would look like but pretty darn close. If you like this book you may want to check out Barlowe's Guide to Science Fiction as well.

Have a vague recollection of having seen that picture (and the book) before. Have the misfortune of never having seen it again.
Use the album to post the pics. There's a size limit, but I don't recall what it is. I think you have to be in the gallery you want the pic in to download it there.
