Once Upon A Time

Interesting premise of Snow White's evil Queen transporting all our favorite fairytale characters to a Stepford Wives/Desperate Housewives cul-de-sac hell (our world), and should be pretty cool to learn the real stories behind each. I liked the actors and the idea and the fact that the Lost people are producing this, but the first episode tried to cram too much info into the viewer's pea-heads and was a bit fast and choppy. Rarely does a second episode need to back up a little bit in order to save the first, but I think things will slow down and this week's will be great.

I'm very interested in this series. I think I'll probably grab it from Hulu when I get a chance (IF I get a chance).

Saw it. My first impression is that Jennifer Morrison can't carry a lead role.

The blond? Yeah I know, but I'm trying to give her a chance-what else has she been in?

edit: OK I googled---I haven't seen that much House...was she any good in her recurring role?

She seemed to polarize the audience: you were either a Cameron/Jennifer Morrison fan or you weren't. Wasn't a huge fan myself, but that may have been due to problems I had with her character.

Haven't seen Once Upon a Time yet but it sounds interesting. I shall vicariously watch it by monitoring your opinions in this thread :)
(I've already got too much unwatched stuff in my 'to watch' pile, including Rubicon from ep4 on. Anyone else catch this? I know, height of rudeness to bring up another television show in a thread dedicated to OUaT but still.. anyone?)

I liked her in the beginning, but by season four I was over her. I think she had a RL affair with a co-star, and that affected the character negatively.

Still trying to like this, almost too many characters to decipher--I guess the huge evil guy is the Giant from Jack in the Beanstalk, maybe the evil little fawn guy is from Narnia (since they put the baby in the wardrobe) and I guess the boarding house lady is Old Mother Hubbard...I like Mr. Gold. I'm OK with the blond, but the Mayor and the boy are starting to chafe me---episode 3 will be make or break time.

I'm teetering on the edge---if this week ep doesn't seriously kick ass, I'm done...

Last night didn't quite cut it---too basic, predictable, music too intense when nothing that intense is happening. The real life story is getting repetitive and terribly boring. Her belongings show up just like that, she quits her job, long distance, in Boston, just like that? Too slow, too cheesy, I'm done...

I went and watched all seven eps on Hulu and am impressed. The two worlds are quite intriguing, the 'fairy tale' land not nearly as saccharine or simplistic as one might assume. Meanwhile, the Evil Queen manages to be incredibly vicious yet somehow vulnerable at the same time. Really want to know more about her.

Like the pilot, but didn't get around to watching the other eps until this week. Show definitely got better, intriguing me more and more. Gotta wonder about Mr. Gold/Rumpelstilskin, just gotta...

I haven't seen all the episodes, but I've seen the last few... So far, they're really hit or miss. The Huntsman and Rumpelstiltskin were excellent, the others are kind of bland.

The queen is laughable in her obvious evilness, the blond is laughable in her absurdity. Mirror man (the newspaper guy?) had a twist tonight, that I saw coming a mile away.

Hopefully we're in for some more good episodes; next week's looks promising.

I just got into the show before the season premiere tonight. I'm interested to see where this is going to go. Love Robert Carlyle's Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold
