What does this mean? I know that there would be no dark side or light side anymore, but what else would it mean?

It means that Anakin ultimately would destroy the Emperor. I originally thought they were refering to Anakin's son but it is Anakin himself that takes down the Big Cheese. (After being set back on the path of righteousness by Luke.) IMHO

Well, the warranty on the force would be good for an extra 50,000 miles, if you know what I mean.

See. dAN gets it. This is exactly what I was thinking. You might get a little extra milage out of the force if you rotate it every couple of thousand miles. Once the force is balanced I'm sure there will be many new uses for it. For example if you tried to play marbles on the force now, they'd all just slide off on to the floor. What a mess.

But that wouldn't be balance. And the Sith Lords wouldn't win. Maybe it would be nice, but it wouldn't be balance. I wonder if all the Jedi masters even wanted balance? Then again, by the time Vader finally "balanced" the force, only one Jedi remained. Maybe balance was acheived by removing anybody trained to manipulate the force, whether for good or for ill. Or maybe Vader brought about balance through Luke.
