hey all julie is having surgery to remove kidney stones.

so all prayers, well wishes, love, good vibes, etc... are welcome.

luci will be updating this for me as we are spending the overnight at the hospital. then i bring her home for at least a week.

we bought a new bedroom set for her. including a tv. so i will be assisting her for the week. cooking all her meals, getting her whatever she needs. bought her some movies for Christmas for this very thing. and a book.

i have new books, music and comics. as well.

thank you. i think i shall post the menus here as well. so you can all see how well i am taking care of her.

Good luck with the surgery Julie. I had my Gall Bladder removed 22 years ago due to Gall Stones. If Kidney Stones are anywhere near as bad as severe Gall Stone attacks, surgery will be a giant relief, especially if done Orthoscopically, as my recovery was only 1 week with weight limitations, and my attacks had me in excrutiating pain for 16+ hours at a time. (I actually even drove myself home from the hospital the next day after the surgery.

I got updated and everything went well. Three quarters of her kidney was blocked but they took care of it and she's currently out of the recovery room and awake. Heal quick Julie!

ok i thought I was supposed to be the updater, jennbucket!

last update i got was that miss jules had a bit of trouble coming out of the anesthetic so was in the recovery room a bit longer than is usual (she's had that difficulty before with previous surgery) but is finally (after 4 hrs) out of recovery and in her room. she is in a goodly amount of pain but doing well.
sarge says to send as much good mojo as you can spare her way. he's staying the night with her.

i burned my candle to the nub for menolly but i'll get a new one tomorrow.
till then i'm sending many miss julie.
