OK, so this movie had a very slow start.... actually, the whole movie was slow. At the same time, the actors gave really good performances.
I like George Clooney's style, but I didn't enjoy the movie overall.
Edit:
The Candidate and The Contender were both much better political movies.

Spoiler
Besides, it seemed rather politically masterbatory, ascribing much more importance to certain people than I think is warranted.
The whole idea that it would be this huge disastrous news story to find out that two people from competing campaigns had met in a bar. Maybe I'm just not "plugged in" politically, but I honestly don't even know the name of any candidate's campaign advisor... even Obama, who I voted for. Nor do I care if they meet in a bar.
