Too damned young. Even more tragically, too many of her last few potentially good years were lost to bad choices.

Very sad. Thinking of her family and kids.

I shouldn't be stunned, but I am. So much talent, gone forever. Godspeed, Whitney.

I, kind of, fell in love with her in The Bodyguard, but don't tell anyone-then I wouldn't look cool...

Surprising, yet not. Sad.

It's very disheartening when someone so talented and so on top of the world and their game just throws it all away. It's sad to think of how much more she might have contributed to music and film if she hadn't gotten on a fast track to the dark side. RIP Whitney.

Ya know, I've never been a fan. Yet it is still sad.
And I'm also sad for the people who were/are fans having to put up with monsters like Nancy Grace and her entire class of "people" ruining it for them.

Let us not ever suffer to have "Nancy Grace" and "class" occupy the same sentence again, please!
Reprehensible though Nancy's sort of journalism is, she and her ilk are not to blame for this. They are the buzzards of their trade, feeding on the corpses and those not yet dead, but too badly wounded to fend off the feeders.
Those who repeatedly put Darkness in the reach of vulnerable Light and those who made if possible for Light to be vulnerable: those are the true culprits. I do not name names...here, or in cases closer to our hearts and homes.

She had that superhuman voice, and a charisma that came through from the first time I heard her. Still listen to her songs from time to time, because there's lots of gems she's created.
