Couch needed... going surfing!

A friend today made me the dare to do something I wouldn't normally do... something outrageous... something that I've wanted to do for a while anyway...

On that note, I'm going to try moving to a new city. Probably around August, but plus or minus a month or two.

My question is... would anyone here be willing to put me on a couch for a few weeks? I won't have much money when I get there, but I will have a job (the one concession to my cautious self is that I'll be applying before I go). Other than that, I am honestly scared s***less about this, as I am not prepared or ready, but that's kind of the point I guess.

Overall I think a new city will be good for me. Like I said before, I've wanted to for a while anyway just for the experience (I've only moved with my wife before, and I want a city where it's just "me" instead of "us" there), plus I'm kind of tired of the cold and rain in the Northwest. Besides all that, with everything going on at work I think it's time for a change there too.

If it helps, Jenn (& several other Watchers from Albuquerque last year) can attest that I'm really cute & friendly :D

and cuddly

Mi casa es su casa. Anytime except the last week in September and first week in October when someone else is location surfing. Other then those two weeks come, stay as long as you like. I think Xar lives around here too. You even get your own bedroom.

(although I think a west coaster probably have a case of shock on the east coast.)

I would, but we are on the complete opposite side of the nation. I can't really recommend NH, or Boston, for that matter.

But if you're in a bind, let me know. I could probably make accommodations for you on my couch. But I have a dog. And a kid. We are loud and there are early wake-up calls every day.

If DC's on your list, I'd be happy to host you here. Magickmaker will certainly have vacated the daybed by then.

Thanks for the offers, everyone... I have no idea where I'll end up, but I'm sure it'll be an adventure!
