Obi Wan: "I shall become more powerful...."

"Than you can imagine"
Obi Wan says this to Vader, is this yet another flaw in the Saga? Because all that happens is Obi Wan turns into a powerless Hologram; I mean is it just me or is Obi Wan feeding up a load of bullcrap again?
P.S. I didn't want to make an unfinished title, it's just the full quote wouldn't fit in there.

Is it just me, or has Darth Revan stole yet another of my ideas in a pointless attempt to have more topics than postings?

Yes this was your idea. But I didn't think you have the intelligence to post it. So I did so. But I am curious as to what Obi Wan was thinking at that moment. Was he bluffing, or what. Anyway, answer the question dAN, and do something useful for once.
P.S. I've never stolen anything off you before. I'm not
that thick

I already knocked you off the balcony. But okay, I'll use my superior intellect to try to explain things to you once again. It's
so obvious; I'm surprised even an idiot like you didn't get it. Once dead, Obi Wan had the power to make all the Stormtroopers miss their targets.

But they didn't hit their targets in the first place you retard!

Not true, O most moronic lord of idiocy. They were particularly deadly from their debut in episode II all the way up to the fight scene in the beginning of Episode IV. And you, the self-annointed "Man without Brain", can come up with no other explanation anyway.

Which explains your complete lack of function. And the scarecrow, but mainly you.

Dude was just speaking about how his death and afterlife would influence Luke. He's gonna get you Sucka!!!!

I assume he was referring to the way in which he was then able to hang around and annoy Vader
anywhere, even in the toilet or in bed. That was a dread power indeed...

Well he becomes one with the Force... maybe that makes him powerful, but not on a level of mortal powers.

Then his power is useless from a human perspective, which is what he had when he made the comment.

good point... but what did he mean then?

Obi wan's destiny was obvious to him. He must have realized he couldn't defeat Vader so he did all he could to assist the one person he was convinced could. Luke. Obi wan may have become a physically powerless hologram but after his death he was able to influence Luke in way and in places he never could have it he were alive. I think this is the power he spoke of. I don't think Vader's mom had a lot to do with it.

But surely that power was not beyond Vader's imagination?

Even though Obi-wan is a filthy liar, I think that what he had in mind probably was beyond Anakin's imagination. Even if it was heroic bravado there was little Vader could do about it in any case.
