As some of you know, last November I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle. Totaled the bike and did a number on me. Less than 7 months later, my wife and I struck out on my new bike from Maryland to Colorado. 11 days and 5,400 miles later, we're back. As I have time, I'll post up some pictures and a ride report, but suffice it to say that we had a blast.
Hard to believe I went from this.....
To this......
....in less than 7 months.

Gee, I expected Menolly to ask where Julie's Kotter's tuna casserole was.
You never really know some people...

Mountains, and lots of them.....
Valley of the Gods. 17 miles of unpaved "road" through some amazing desert. Truly breathtaking.
Overlooking Valley of the Gods. Two miles or so up an unpaved nightmare to this overlook. People were shocked that the Harleys made it up there. Needless to say, it speaks volumes about the caliber of the riders I travel with.
Looking over The Goosenecks.
