That was in 2006. So, I think it's time to update the score from its foolish tie verdict. My vote'll be the first, so THOOLAH's got a head start.
So we all know, THOOLAH hates Linden Avery. The name stands for The Holy Order Of Linden Avery Haters.
L.A. stands for Linden's Army. The fools like Linden Avery.
Vote honestly. Or for THOOLAH. We all know THOOLAH's better.

Never understood the THOOLAH attitude. If you trust SRD, you know where you need to stand on this. He has redeemed worse characters. Cov (as we knew him in the 1st Chrons), for one. Angus for another.

In my mind it isn't about trusting the author its about the character getting on your nerves from day one and staying there no matter what they do.
Yes. SRD has presented the likes of TC or Angus Thermopyle etc and have somehow transformed a despicable character into someone you can root for. LA is a little different however. She was never a hardcore jerk or down and dirty scumbag she was just sort of annoyingly in the way and capable of just enough evil to make her practically an antagonist figure if it weren't for the fact that Covenant cared for her. Linden is sort of Thomas Covenant's Yoko Ono. But of course we've heard all of this before in many ways.
To reiterate, I DO trust SRD. I just don't happen to like LA, regardless of the personal journey she has embarked on that will enable her to evolve into a better person. I don't care. I'm reading these books because of the Thomas Covenant character and since LA is blocking my view of the guy I find her, longlastingly annoying.
IMHO of course. I don't pretend to speak for all of THOOLAH.
