Effytars

A separate topic at last, running between the "Comin' Clean" and the "Dust off your Edgetar!" ones is not too convenient, and neither was intended for this.

Please, if I'm making your avatar, feel free to tell me what you'd like to change, or if it's better to make anew, being specific in what turned out good or not.

Ended up with this shortening - Effytar - looks short enough and sounds as if it was formed from "effete", and that word, strangely enough, is firmly associated in my mind with Professor Moriarty) All the more fitting, moreover so since I like so much to use fractals and other excuses not to draw in avatars)

ussusimiel, the first variant for your avatar. An image more or less closer to how I imagine ussusimiels, a fractal image of Fertile Sun plants on the background. Would you like some text - your name, "Fertile Sun", both?

Iolanthe, your avatar with your name on it. What do you think about the font, size and color? This variant i based on the current colors and the font from your another image.

Did try to do something with the "toy") image, maybe too vague.

Eff, that is really beautiful. Can't thank you enough. :D (in lieu of no other suitable emoticon)

That's cool, Effy! I like the fractal fertility  No need for any writing, thanks.

If you're having another go you could make the squash a bit smaller so that it seemed to be more among the leaves. If you were able to add a couple more squash so that it looked like a cluster, that's be great. I'm very demanding!

Menolly, thank you)

Iolanthe, :D from me as well, I'm very glad you like it)

ussusimiel, I'm particularly happy you like the fractal fertility) And yes, I'll try to do what you said - I didn't know how prominently you wanted to be featured on your av, so made the ussusimiel image large and on foreground, if you'd like it better this way, perhaps it may turn out well, at least I'll try)

Done! Many little ussusimiels) Played with the leaves a bit as well. And more narrow for you not to have to change its size. May I ask why? Uploading 200x200 is allowed and some Watchers use that to the fullest)

I'm sorry Eff, but I had to laugh. They look like different sized footprints!

Thanks Effy! That's great. I like the second one best as the squashes stand out a little more. Thanks v much!

The 200x200 seems too square and too big to me. I prefer the slimmer rectangular shape. Purely subjective!

Glad to see people returning to the Watch) Many happy returns recently))

Thanks for the appreciation about the av. ussusimiel, don't you share Iolathe's idea about how that looks?) I may try to fix it, though likely it should include removing the smallest ones - they really have very vague shapes.

That was just a first impression Eff. It's Ussusimiel's avatar, and if he or she (don't want to get it wrong again) likes it that's grand. I'm very happy with mine. :D

Thanks for the offer, Effy, but I'm quite happy with it the way it is. I also like the way the squash seem to be being drawn into the jungle as if it's a gravity well. Could be a metaphor for the Sunbane

ussusimiel, thank you, glad you're happy with it. :) And an interesting thought about the gravity well)

More victims for strange avs?

Well, I used ussusimiel's av as the basis, I followed the general outline, the form wasn't altered much, at least not really consciously)

An yet again... It seems to me sometimes I've got some aura that attracts such things)

Curiously, when I was deciding on a name for my account on the Watch, I didn't know what the atmosphere and the attitude to unconventional members here was like, and I tried to pick one of of my more neutral-looking ones. And now I don't really want to change it, even though at least one of those names appears pretty fitting, perhaps I may use it for a role-play account. Ray-V-Furter

Effy, what is Rayvfurter in reference to? The last one is rocky horror film, what about the first two? Also, how are you unconventional? You keep saying you are, but I don't understand why you say that. you seem totally normal to me.

Normal to you?) Well, that may be something that has more to do with your definition of normal))

And your reply looks as if you're very remotely acquainted with the RHPS topic, am I correct in guessing that?
