I can start. I think numeration and chapter assignment should be done by actual chapters, not only the ones with numbers, so that the threads don't turn out as a mess and not too much has to be dissected at one go. That is, the first Ancillary Documentation chapter is FK 1 - Ancillary Documentation, the Angus POV chapter is FK 2 - Angus, the first chapter with a number is FK 3 - Chapter 1.

I thought the first chapter was Angus? Regardless, you make a very good point that this needs to be hammered out with thought WAY in advance of an inevitable train-wreck.

In case you didn't notice, I'm 100% with you on this disection. Let's do it.

As for the AD's and the POV shifts - what about the next books? What chapter break-outs to include the POV shifts in? Also, I think some people may be more interested to dissect AD's specifically, or read about them, and vice versa. Very different kind of content.

For now, I think, Angus and the first chapters may be started anyway, there's no confusion with them, and renaming a thread, if needed, is a matter of moments. I'll dissect Angus Stutty, will you take Chapter1?

Stutty, are you still here? I decided not to wait on any reaction, took a lot of time already, in the worst case, the posted threads may be renamed and merged - and likely even that won't be needed, the system is quite clear. Will you take The Gap Into Vision - Forbidden Knowledge 2: Chpt 1?

As for this new name you're trying to use on me - I'd rather have something less obvious at least, this one is very recognizable for what it is.

I've noticed that that link I posted to the Forbidden Knowledge chapter assignment post (in the Gap forum's Gap Dissection thread) sometimes goes right to the post I intended, and sometimes instantly scrolls up a few posts. I'm not sure why it sometimes doesn't work as I intended, but I will remedy that by re-posting here the credits for who created what FK thread.

And, once again, my deepest thanks to Avatar, Skyweir, Lefdmae Deemalr Effaeldm, Lord Foul, and StevieG for the fantastic work they did on the chapter dissection threads! It was great to work with them, and I look forward to working with all again soon! A Dark and Hungry God Arises is definitely an enjoyable read, and it's up next for the group read treatment.
