RALLY AGAINST MEDIOCRITY

Hi folks,

poetry is fun and easy but I would like to talk to you about another artistic outlet. I'm talking about my artistic outlet when it comes to my religion. I believe a person should express religious fervor the way Bach or Beethoven did, through art. I know that there is one true god that is God and that paganism is wrong and selfish. I believe if you are kidding yourself with the trappings of religion, then you might as well turn away from God all together. We have a choice to turn away from God but why turn to your own made up gods? Sounds boring and time consuming. I bet I could hollow out a log and use it as a boat in the time it takes for some people to claim that they are pagans.

I hope my artistic feelings did not offend any one.

Null: I am no longer moderator of this board, but I would suggest that maybe put your own poems in your own thread? This is BBF's thread and while he may not mind I don't want to set a precedent of us putting our creations in others' areas.

That said: one of the reasons I was called to task as a moderator here was stickying this thread. I gave valid reasons but if it needs to be unstickied fair enough. It was quite a debate. And yet the Admins are purportedly watching the forum and yet they haven't removed this thread's sticky.

I will try my best to moderate without mod powers and without support.
