A PocketWocket Howdy!

Howdy everybody!
I'm a long time friend of the Land.
Rarely do I find an author worthy of my financial support, but I can proudly say Mr Donaldson has been a most welcome dependent. His skills continue to grow with each new Chronicle and all I can say is "Thank You".
My first visit, like so many others, occurred almost 35 years ago when I acquired copies of the First Chronicles in paperback. Since then, I have been first in line for all subsequent Hardback editions in an attempt to quench my need. What a joy it was back then to walk into a bookstore and see the newly published TWL sitting on a shelf waiting for me to buy it, knowing the adventures would continue and I would once again immerse myself in the Land. Then anticipation took hold for the subsequent publications of TOT and WGW. Here it seemed TC had found his eternal reward and the adventures concluded. For myself, 20 years of life happened next and I did very little reading during this time. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but sweet exhiliration filled me when I learned of the pending publication of TROTE. The Chronicles continue for one last journey. While three years between each new publication may seem inexorably long, just step back a moment and come to the realization of where we are now - little over 1 year left to the last page, to the last chapter, to the last book, to The Last Dark.
Long has been the journey, but SRD has made it memorable. And whenever, wherever I choose, I can revisit the Land to rediscover all over again the travels and trials of TC & LA.
Little more personal - "PocketWocket" is a small tribute to an early influence of my life, Theodor Geisel. I am a self published author of four books, but that is another story and I will not self-promote here.
All the best,
PocketWocket (aka Laurence G Freeman)
