Well, you asked for it.

Have you thought of doing Lord Mhoram's Victory?
Thanks!

Figures, I'd have to re-read the book and create a satisfactory cavewight model first, not to mention Mhoram. For some reason, my 1st chrons art has hitherto twirled chiefly around Foamfollower.
Been lately on an AATE/FR spin, possibly because these bricks don't receive enough affection.

Thanks! Did you mean this thread?

So apparently I've managed to reach the pinnacle of blasphemy by creating cute ur-viles? Erm. Mission accomplished?

Oops, didn't realise it wasn't the right thread! :?

They don't look frightening at all to me I'm afraid, and yes, they do look cute! I always imagined them rounder. :D

Well, it's a dorky cartoon, so I guess they can appear cute.

SRD would probably tear his hair out like with Sweet's original WGW cover.

That one was kind of serious, worse, it was supposed to depict the contents faithfully. I won't like to see on covers many, many items of good fan art I've seen and liked. I think cute ur-viles are fine :)

Aaand a quick-ish Hile Troy for Deer from the pinup request post.
(ie. only minor error checks)

ETA: "Lil Hile" is not entirely serious, as some appear to think. :P That ought to be obvious from the posturing, etc. :P

On the floor in the club on the battlefield
Earthsight gonna guide the weapon I wield
Ur-viles gonna fall before me
When I raise my hand, armies marching for me
Check this! Gonna fight the Despiser
Gonna make his Ravers fly, sir
Illearth stone ain't nothing no
Theurgy, let me tell you something yo
Just wait till they meet the Forestal
Gonna see them sweat, see them tremble
Dead armies gonna fall before me
Giant Ravers gonna wish they knew me

Despite all the other great work on this particular art subforum, this is still far and away my favourite post.

Just wanted to say, Frostheart Grueburn, that this is the post I come back to time and again. Your artwork here never fails to put a smile on my face. And your proportions of the giantesses are just perfect. Thanks for putting them up for us to see.

When I was younger I drew from the Second Chronicles. My artwork is all commercial these days, but it would be fun to do some of those sketches again, your work is inspiring me!

Thanks again for all the great work.

Frostheart Grueburn... we are not worthy... well, I speak for myself anyway. :luke:

You are a very talented artist and I love your drawings from The Land the best out of all the TC art our there. Even the cgi ur-viles and Drool I have seen do not compare. I have a folder in my pc named Frostheart Grueburn.
Thank you very much. :yourock:

The thread is here, but sadly the images are not. At least, not for me.

A great many of the images she made, from this thread and elsewhere, remain in the Laborium part of the Watch's Album, which is what I was referring to. Sorry, way, I should have been more specific.
