I suggest that there be a moderator instated on the Hall of Gifts.

From what I can deduce, David Williams was the moderator until a few days ago and all a a sudden, there is not anyone moderating.

I have a few poems and a short Novella I am writing entitled Golden Conda but i am wary of posting without a moderator.

I suggest sgt. null as the moderator as he has been around the longest and at this juncture is the highest outputter of media related poetry and story.

sgt. null has fought for his place of right and I believe he shouldn't be the silent drummer boy anymore :)

I have faith that everyone will get behind me on this!

Woo! null.

Also, I have noticed that there are alot of cluttered word games going simultaneously. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be possible to pick the best one and consolidate the others with the best? It really seems like there are puzzle pieces missing from each game that can only be consolidated through a merger.

There are too many life boats but not enough rowers

Check again, there is only Furl's Fire as moderator. There is no active moderator null.

Thanks for your suggestion.

We are considering a number of worthy candidates for the position, but have not yet made a final decision.

Until such time as we choose a dedicated moderator, the admins will be keeping an eye on the Hall of Gifts.

I also think Sarge can be a great mod, he's creative, open-minded and very active on the forum.

There is one more good variant I can think of immediately, even hard to say which is better, there are great upsides to both. Frostheart may be less active on the forums, but she is dedicated to creativity, has a keen grasp on art, including fandom-based, and deep understanding of how all those things work.

Actually, I could be very happy to see both of them as mods)

And may I ask, why was David removed from the mod position?

And thanks to the admins for keeping an eye on the Hall. Is it Av's or someone else's, or do you share it, like the Graeae?)

David resigned his mod position, he was not removed.

The members under consideration include his own recommendation for a mod. (Not named here I note.)

In the meanwhile, the administrators will share the Hall between them. Luckily it is not an onerous task.

I think that covers it. ;)
