Foul Decree #1:

My recent claim on the Foul powers of the Watch means more than can be plainly seen, but it is not my intent to let the grass grow under my feet, I prefer to stand on marble, concrete or some other solid surface. Thus I choose to whisper a word of counsel, and the results may be more than could be imagined. Accept our guidance. Be assured that this wretched confirmed psychpath does not wish harm upon you.

1. I offer to any willing people, and to the not much willing as well, to proclaim themselves Ravers, ur-viles of the loyal to me kind, Illearth stone warped monsters and whatever else they may feel like being, and to pledge their allegiance to me. You will find I am not an uncongenial master.

2. I recommend to be sweet and lovely to people. Yes, you haven't misread this. After all, I need someone here to Despise, and it is generally sportless with no people around, really, who should I Despise then, myself? I admit it may be more like sweet as the smell of attar and rotten fruits, lovely like the view over the Foul's Creche on a starry midnight. Such is the nature of this way of communication, relying on thin wires and ethereal signals that link through vast distances and on whims of people, that every fate is not graven within the rock, is not even written in water, but in aether.

3. I have said that the connection to the Land here has great importance. That is sooth. Also it is sooth that, able to feel it or not, people come here because of SRD's writings, and while I appreciate highly the way the Watch integrates most various things and allows for different activities, that reason, I think, shouldn't be forgotten either. I mean all the expressions of thoughtfulness and creativity, like the dissections, the artworks, the poems and many others. I see not everyone can and not everyone is willing to do that, there are many reasons and many other things to do, that I understand. But to appreciate, support and counsel those who do so is the least that can be done and yet can mean so much.

4. To Ananda, who is my predecessor's Foul-wife, I propose. It displeases me to see her left almost without attention. I reserve the possibility to take another Foul-wife or several though, with the similar thing possible for the other side, or no ur-viles. If anyone objects, should state it plainly here, otherwise I may withdraw the proposal or act on it - declaring that silence implies consent, perhaps whichever seems worse to me. [/end of obvious trap]

There is more, but of my deeper purpose I will not speak.

Also made the recap - sent it in a PM, thought it was large, not much fitting here and more likely to be mentioned that way.

They’ll Illearth Stone ya when you’re walkin’ to the door
But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get Illearth Stoned

They’ll Illearth Stone ya when you’re at the breakfast table
They’ll Illearth Stone ya when you are young and able
They’ll Illearth Stone ya when you’re tryin’ to make a buck
They’ll Illearth Stone ya and then they’ll say, “good luck”

Well, they’ll Illearth Stone you when you walk all alone
They’ll Illearth Stone you when you are walking home
They’ll Illearth Stone you and then say you are brave
They’ll Illearth Stone you when you are set down in your grave
But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get Illearth Stoned

Sorry for the confusion over the the idiom. In the intended context, "stable" can be considered an synonym for "collection."

Stable Model Semantics

The concept of a stable model, or answer set, is used to define a declarative semantics for logic programs with negation as failure. This is one of several standard approaches to the meaning of negation in logic programming, along with program completion and the well-founded semantics. The stable model semantics is the basis of answer set programming.

Ouch, it's me who has to be sorry, I took the joke too far, if it's possible to take too a joke too far when it wasn't a joke to start with) To summarize, I thought it was a joke on your side and decided to take it further  www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=stable

In the words of George Takei, "Oh, myyyyyy!"

Having looked at those two definitions, I now entirely understand where you were going, Effy, and there is no use denying your conclusion....not after all the time spent dropping decreasingly cryptic hints in recent years.

No, it is no joke, and we are all doing our best to make it as stable as possible.

Sometimes it is :kisshand: and sometimes :smack: . Further, deponent sayeth naught.

Definitely some growing pains involved.
...but as I am constantly reminded, over all a much better situation than the one I left.

Now if only I could find employment, so I can get my cancer recovery back on track.

Half-life (t½) is the time required for a quantity to fall to half its value as measured at the beginning of the time period. In physics, it is typically used to describe a property of radioactive decay, but may be used to describe any quantity which follows an exponential decay.

A retirement? Leaving me behind? Really, you should have known better. For the Power which upholds me has stood since the creation of Time - and you're not the only one stubborn yet.
