Nordic Thunder

Just a quick word of congratulations to Justin Howard (aka Nordic Thunder) who this week scooped the tite for 'Air Guitarist of the Year' at the recent world campionships in Oulu, Finland. Narrowly beating his close rival Matt Burns (aka Aristotle) a tearful Howard said "It's just amazing - I feel loved". The 17th World Air Guitar Championships had attracted strong competition from an international field of contestants and saw Howard, American Champion and runner up last year, finally triumph by a margin of just 0.2 points. Entrants are normally expected to be national champions of their own country, however a number of 'Dark Horse' challengers are selected each year from 60 second video performances submited to a selection panel of judges at the championship headquaters in Oulu.
