Steve & Shaun's Excellent Adventure

As many a brave photographer will tell you, Mythical Creatures are notoriously difficult to capture on film...
After bribing them with a case of Tasmania's finest beer, the Mythical Creatures stay still long enough for evidence of their existence to be collated...
...but moments later, race off to explore their surroundings...
Made ravenous by their afternoon frolicking, the Mythical Creatures begin their ritual feasting...
Though usually generous, they can become protective of their fluids if other Mythical Creatures, having drained their own resources, enter their territory...
...and, though famous for their class and decorum, there are documented cases of Mythical Creatures getting drunk and passing out...

Aw shucks - thanks!
It was great to finally meet another real live watcher (pretty sure we were real anyway...

).
It was quite funny that we didn't have to explain much to each other - we already knew what we were currently reading, opinions on stuff, some background etc. The SdS sense of humour is the same in real life too

(that's a compliment by the way

)

Don't be jealous, pop on over. We're only down the road. (Sure there's 10,000 miles of water before you get to that road, but we promise to have your towel waiting!)

StevieG's right, it was great to meet another Watcher-slash-geek.
(The geek bit was confirmed when he asked for directions to the nearest science fiction bookstore

)
Thanks for the compliment btw Steve. And rest assured everyone, StevieG's drinking speed is the same in real life.

Thanks Ali, the freaks bit is certainly true
(Sorry, Stevie. Um, it's a compliment?)

Hahaha, sozzled sheep. XD Glad you guys had fun.
Would very much like to meet some other watchers in person, but seemingly nano-e-festing chances just below the polar circle are dwindling down to nothing.

Unless someone magically translates themselves somewhere near Copenhagen next week.

Well, Frosty, you never know. C & I have an investment maturing next month and I was only saying to him yesterday that we ought to have a good holiday, not had one for about 5 years now (not even a bad one). I quite fancy a Nordic cruise!

Well, let me know by PM if your plans turn true.

I'm on the area that has ferries coming from Stockholm.

Will do. Now I have to persuade C that he too fancies a Nordic cruise. Or rather let him think that he has persuaded me to want one.

I accept

But you know how expensive adopted kids are...
Frosty, us mythological creatures and non humans must stick together - I'll pop on up sometime, this weekend ok? Hmm, one day perhaps

I still think if finances are an issue, fests should be saved up for summer 2014 for the grand TLD elohimfest in Albuquerque. All Watchers need to be there, from everywhere!

Great! Now I have one of each.

Expensive? What, even mythological ones??

Especially mythological ones!
We'll make giant mythological holes in your bank account with our constant demands for mythological ice-cream, mythological toys and mythological clothes.
(And take it from me, StevieG has expensive tastes in dresses!)
But don't worry, he's well trained and cleans up any mess we make.

Oh dear, bang goes the Nordic cruise then.

But wait, what is a boat ride compared to my two mythological waifs and strays - and they are tidy too???
And don't worry, Stevie can have my hand-me-downs. I've got lots of twin sets, sunray skirts and stays he can borrow.

That's wonderful news Iolanthe! He looks especially great in a twin set.

Pink, I think, to go with his avatar.
