Starting Mordant's Need!

I finished the first Man Who book (pretty good) and now I'm finally starting TMOHD! So far (chapter one) it reminds me a LOT about classic Donaldson. The first Man Who book was good but I could tell SRD was trying a different style. But MN definitely reminds me of TC. Looking forward to more!-jay

I have to say, I've read through chapter 5 and so far I'm completely blown away. Now HERE is the SRD that I loved when reading the first two TCs and the Gap. Such memorable characters, such imagery (and Imagery). Wow.

What the heck happened with the Last Chronicles?

AATE is better than the first two books in it.

(Don't know if you've got that far yet.) ;)

How come no one ever told me how amazing Mordant's Need is!!!

Wow!

I've over halfway through the first book and I'm just loving the classic SRD storytelling.

Just got to the scene with Teresa and King Joyce playing mental hop-board. Wow!

And the characters! Dude! The buildup of just waiting for Geraden to do something completely awesome is killer!

Congratulations on finding this book, Jay. :) In some ways I like this duology more than the Chronicles.

I had started Mordant's Need: Mirror of her Dreams once before, but, I only got about 100 pages in and never got a chance to finish it. I just started listening to the Audiobook read by Scott Brick. Just finished Chapter 1, and enjoying it immensely. As stated, it's very much in the same style as the First Two TC Trilogies.

Is there a Mordant's Need Dissection, I would like to read along to it as I finish Chapters on my Audiobooks.
