But damn, I think I love Live from Daryl's House. Dude's got a great voice, and has some great guests.

Heh...nice call. I'd never have gone there without a thumbs up from someone I know likes a fair amount of the music I do.
Gotta listen to it other than on my lappie, though...practically zero bass and drums audible [hopefully it's just my lappie shortcomings.]

Look for this to be quoted out of context somewhere at sometime...

It's all good, long as they spell my name right and do proper attribution.

If you watched "Yacht Rock" you wouldn't hate Hall & Oates. Nobody can hate H & O after that incredibly awesome madness....

"She's Gone" was all it took for me to love Hall & Oates.

me too.

i was sorta put off by daryl for a long time cause years ago he
said in a rolling stone interview that he was "the best singer in
the business" and i thought "uh...exCUSE me?" cause i thought
(at the time) that TODD was the best singer in the business.
(the bidness of pop, that is)
but he's mellowed quite a bit over the years
and in fact, he is now and always actually has been one of the best
singers in the business. (yes, i now agree with him. heh)

I too love Hall & Oates... it's just white soul music with effete lyrics. And Daryl Hall is a phenomenal singer.
