Has Mrs. Vader been introduced to Pern yet?

Yes. Right now she's reading Naomi Novik.
Can't turn her into a fan of the Land though. But I can understand it - she doesn't read English books and the German translations are crap. She liked Mordan's Need though.

hmm...
I think I see a labor of love for next year's chr-stmas gift, if you begin now...
...even if you can only get one novel a year done. I bet your own translation of
LFB would get her hooked, and you'll have a decade of gifts planned out.

I'm thinking if I could have this in a plaster or some other material I could display permanently, that would be my preferred means. I'm not a fan of the taste and texture of fondant, which I assume is what the edible cake would be decorated with.
