Is there something like Watch Merchandise? I'd love to order some.

I got those here from another forum where I have been mod and god for ten years now.

A watcher mug would be nice.

Once upon a time, Rigel created a NOM t-shirt. Not sure how many he sold...but at least one. I gave one to Menolly for her birthday three years ago. I think there are pictures in the Album of her wearing it at Sugarfest (Fall 2010 in New York) and Elohimfest III (Summer 2011 in Albuquerque)

I have scoured CafePress for the link to the product, but could not find it. :(

I would be happy to put together a set of mugs etc. Easy to do. The same way I did the book for the Fest. Easy peasy. What I can do is make a few things and somehow distribute the link to order your own. No huge effort involved. Btw - anyone that wants the book let me know. I still have it on my mac. But the $$$ are on you.......I'm unemployed. ;)

PM me if you're interested in starting off with the half-ready shop Vain setupped...I don't remember any more what issues I had with it, one I think concerned prints. Just never got a reply to my last batch of questions.

Would be nice to get this finally running. And also if people didn't outright hop over my comment again as tends to happen, but actually suggested something (themes/characters/quotes/whatnot).

It's a start, considering it's the first actual suggestion I've heard in two years. Then, graphics? Or a plain background? Obviously official art's out of the question due to copyright reasons. We have here:

Hue (active)
Blackhawk (visits sometimes?)
Marineguy (Gone permanently?)
Lorin (?)
Kevin164 (Inactive?)
Myself
Who else?

I'm sure many or perhaps all would consent to the usage of their art if contacted. But for t-shirts or such designs, suitably high-res base files are needed. (On my behalf, I have no problems supplying those.)

What kinds of items would people actually consider buying? With what kinds of graphics on them? More quotes / slogans? What's missing?

Then, prints. I have heard 2-3 people being interested in She Who Must Not and the TLD cartoon, but anything else? I have two years' worth of drawings sprawling around, some colored, including designs like this, created originally for some kind of Swordmain mug background.

Lorin?

I would be content if the mug displayed the banner above. It's somewhat neutral and stylish.

I would love that too. Are there copyright issues to be considered? If not, I'd love to let my Geek flag fly!!

Sorry, won't work. It's copyrighted artwork from a book called "Realms of Fantasy", which is why we'll have to rely on Watch artists, public domain, or create something from scratch.

(And hitting the theme of a few months back, if people find the freebies boring or ugly or whatever, why don't they simply suggest something different? I never really got a sufficient answer to that either.)

To be honest, I don't need characters on a mug. A nice landscape and a logo would be enough. I'm all for understatement. However I'm not artist enough to come up with my own design.

You are just an artist in a different medium, Vader...but Artistry is still Artistry.

Thank you sir. But I don't think food pictures are appropriate here.

Glad to see some activity here. I'll take a request list of some sort (Aliantha, giantesses, what else?), and anyone else willing to design something is welcome to it. However, due to back problems and my right arm being taped, I can't draw for hours on end right now. Any larger painting projects will have to wait till the tension pain's gone. As for "Land" backgrounds, didn't Blackhawk have quite a selection of 3D renders on his website? Perhaps something of that ilk, then? (Moreover, I *can* paint "neutral" landscapes when on the right mood, (f. ex. fav.me/d2pss13 ) and do have some unused ideas lurking in the recesses of inspiration.) Plus, I guess actual photos could be always used? Any landscape photographers around with a good eye?
I have a crapload of nature shots on my computer from my trips to Iceland and Poland in RAW format; maybe something Land-ish could be unearthed there (need to post examples)?

This shop's on Zazzle, cheaper than Cafepress, and with wider product selections. Figured how to make prints finally (either I'm just stupid or need the right prod :P). Their t-shirt design area's regrettably small, and, like with other products, appears that the graphics ought to roughly follow the widescreen format. Which restricts the usage of existing images up to some degree.

(I'll write more about this later.)
