Oy. Must. Resist. Inane. Fangirl. Squeals.
And new art from Blackhawk! :D

So, may I ask how do you send that material to SRD, anyhow, now that the GI is closed? I have inquired about this a couple of times on the board, but never received an answer. Apologies if you're not the correct person.

William Springer's (Blackhawk) work as insightful as ever. Incredible imagination and interpretation. I'd like to see a bigger version. Wish he'd visit and post it.

erm...link? URL? I'll even take the DNS numbers, if you have those.

Not everyone here--me, specifically--is as connected or knows people who know people as others.

How do you do a trailer for a book, anyway? It is a couple of teaser paragraphs, or what?

It's at www.stephenrdonaldson.com it'll be the changing text in the upper left. Be sure to allow pop ups on that site, or you'll go into a rabid rage like I did for a while there. Just click, the cursor may or may not indicate that it is clickable.

I *loved* that whole line. Teared up every time I read it. It immediately jumped out as something around which a trailer should be built. And it's a hundred times more powerful when read in context. :-)

I guess we will have to take your word for the impact of the line in context, Romeo...not that I doubt it for a moment.

I am too old to be wishing my summers away, but October cannot come soon enough!

When in April is the music coming?
And is Simon Smith a Watcher?

The end of April. Simon is "ingemisco" of the Watch.

And I've just uploaded the sample chapter - which this time is Chapter 3. Enjoy! :-)

Hahaha, I had similar questions in the past. Book trailers, bah.

I shall skip the trailer. I haven't even read the preview chapter. I'll just wait for the book to come out. :D

Haha, cool. (When are you re-doing that site huh? :P )

Since this is an open announcement forum, about all I can say after reading the chapter (I could not resist) is to echo Wayfriend's comment about the trailer.

OMG!!!

Which material are you talking about, Frostheart? Romeo is SRD's webmaster (among other things) and I think he got the material off the KW members. :) I actually have no idea how you contact SRD these days. Romeo? Do you send him a letter through his publishers?

Fanart. I noticed at some point that people send those things through the GI. However, the matter's being handled now, so no worries. :D

ETA: Read the sample. 8O 8O 8O 8O Holy Taara.
Either SRD has simplified his language a teensy bit, or my English has improved.

I wonder what...eh, helvetti, I'll just dissect it.

Put off watching the trailer until last night. It's very good. I don't think anyone should worry about book spoilers if they watch it.

Romeo, who gets the credit for the production and writing?

Blackhawk's art is great, too. (And probably worthy of discussion! Like his last effort, it's enticing without being revealing.) I hope at some point someone can share an image link here.

(I also thought that Blackhawk's art in the trailer was reminiscent of Frostheart's SWMNBN piece.)

As far as the posted chapter goes ... Image
