ussusimiel needs staples!

I'm involved in doing some small scale publishing (poetry pamphlets) with some friends at the moment and one of my responsibilities is sourcing stainless steel staples (standard half-inch office staple, 26/6 (in Europe), F1667 STFCC-04 (in the US)). I've trawled the 'Net but I've come up empty, so I'm now turning to that almost infinite source of knowledge and nous, Kevin's Watch

Any help would be most welcome!

m'dear ussusimiel. It's wonderful that you're reaching to the KW community for staple input. I have some advice - Staples

Know that I hold you in the highest regard

As well as your regard (and a Nirvana-esque YouTube video seemingly extolling the benefits of Botox 8O ) you have actually been helpful

Staples does not deliver to Europe, so, (if they have the particular type of staple I need) a very kind Watcher could purchase them and forward them onto me. I would reimburse them, of course, and they would have my deepest gratitude

Did you try pm'ing Iolanthe? She's a Brit and very friendly and helpful, and working in all that historical stuff she probably uses a staple or two.

I'll do that pronto Dear Deer! You are right as well that stainless steel staples might be very important for historical stuff.

Thanks!

U, if google is not helpful, I am going to Staples in the next week or two to get a lot of photocopying done. I can look for you if you haven't found any. I'm quite willing to post on.

As I said in my pm, I rarely use staples, and they use brass paperclips for old documents.

Thanks, Murrin, they do. (Do you know the exact product that they don't have? :? I'll try emailing them to see if they can source some for me.)
