I just think that it is so cool this world still holds surprises like this. :D

Also, it's not on the Discovery channel, so it's probably not fake. :P

His/her coat is too nice. Risky to have anything too nice. Will probably see it wrapped around Paris Hilton's neck next week.

That bird looks angry! The Olinguito is cute. I'm amazed that there are still undiscovered animals and birds out there.

Well, I think it's a bit like the America's.
It isn't that no one knew about it...it's that White Europeans didn't know about it. Even worse, I've seen history books claim Polo "discovered" China, and "built" the Silk Road.

They weren't really discovered...just finally spotted by folk who like to make lists of animals.

Wow! I expected it to be a little shrew sized beast that had somehow evaded the taxonomical net - but this guy is a bad-ass big ol' bear of a guy! The weird stuff lover in me immediately starts thinking about 'big-foot' and the yeti and stuff. Nice post Deer!
