The new dream thread

...because I couldn't find the old one. Okay, I only looked three pages back, but...
I haven't remembered a dream in a while. But this morning, the alarm went off while I was in the midst of a dream, and I retained a good chunk of it. I was a panelist on what appeared to be a podcast with a group of women I didn't know, and the discussion got around to homosexuality. And after everybody else got their say, I spoke up and explained that my connection to the topic was that my brother was gay. Which, if you knew the guy in real life, would be hilarious. He's pretty close to being a homophobe -- been married close to 40 years and has three grown kids. I mean, I realize the homophobia could be denial, but I'm just not seeing it with this guy. Even tho he *is* a Republican.
In any case, in the dream, I was serious. And then the podcast ended, and my brother came up the stairs wearing a red shirt.
So when I woke up, I got out the dream dictionary and tried to look up what it all meant. But it didn't occur to me until a few minutes ago that I'd redshirted my brother in my dream.
