Glad to see a positive review - can't wait... just over a month to go

Is the short review at the end of the link the entire thing, or is there a larger review if one subscribes to the magazine?

I think that's the whole thing.

I took the risk of reading a few reviews yesterday and was much buoyed by the overall positive response. A few minor gripes here and there, but nothing major. I feel we are going to have much to discuss over the coming months on the Watch and look forward to exchanges that soar like eagles to the heights of literary brilliance in both their praise and invective [lets face it - you can't please all of the people all of the time, and it would be a dull old world if you could! ].

No, no they wont.

Although richly allegorical, the novel’s great strength is the warm humanity of its characters, who distinguish themselves by repeatedly confronting and overcoming their personal frailties.

No evidence that it was allegorical, and if the confront and overcome their personal frailties, I didn't see it.

Hmmm.

No evidence that the reviewer read the same book as me.

No evidence that the reviewer is aware of just how unreasonable fans of the series can be.

I refer my learned friend to my last post in the 'An Unreal Utopia' thread pertaining to Othello the Moor.
