Well fancy that...

I have three observations here, namely:-

1. What on God's green earth ever inspired scientists to even think of attempting to make that correlation? Anyone else here instantly thinking IgNobel Prize material?

and 2. The experiment itself must have been bizarre in the extreme... "Okay Mr. Smith, if you wouldn't mind just shifting a bit so we can properly cup you... thanks. Now what do you think of your little Billy's dirty diapers?" 8O

but mostly 3. Geez but why the Hell are these supposedly macho alpha males so scared of their own children's dirty diapers? They really need to grow a pair...

No, wait...

:LOLS:

Is it significant that the same team previously published a paper linking large testicle size with the increased likelyhood of being a promiscuous 'player and 'swordsmam'? ;)

Some researchers clearly have too much time on their hands. *shrug* Irrelevant study is irrelevant.

My original search for this page [resulting from a snippet of news I had heard or read somewhere] to link to, threw up results that were presented from a different angle [ie Study shows that men with smaller testicles make better fathers] as opposed to this presentation with it's thinly veiled inference that men with smaller testicles are in some way more 'womanly'. The research seems as Hashi notes irrelevent one way or the other, but as an example of 'spin' and how it can be applied even [or perhaps even especially] in the presentation of 'scientific' study results, it is of some interest. But is there a genuine anti-feminist agenda in either i) the study or ii) the reporting of the study - or is it me misreading it?

There could be an agenda in this study and the reporting of it, as is so often the case. From Mother Nature's point of view, the size of one's manhood and its associated parts is completely irrelevent--the act of insemination will result whether one is "underendowed" or "overendowed".

The only reason that size ever becomes an issue is because the act of procreation is, for many people, inseparable from the leisure activity contained therein and far too many people, whether they will admit this or not, have picked up many ideas about what is or is not pleasurable and satisfactory from the adult entertainment industry. Now...I am not saying "sex is for procreation only" like some fringe people do (especially since, for me, the first act cannot possibly lead to the second) but it isn't so much the size of the tool but rather how it is used. Like a sword (yes, puns intended, especially if you know your Latin), any untrained fool can swing it and kill someone but only after training can you wield it well and not wind up hurting yourself.

Now that I have derailed this thread in directions that probably were not intended....please continue.

Ummm...some people have gotten a bit off track here.
Cuz, though I'm scared to research it on the 'net, fearing the photo-assaults I will get, I'm pretty sure testicle size and penis size are two different things, neither predictive nor determinate of the other.
/whistle

OTOH, I have invented a method, scientifically proven, to increase testicular size and allow men to avoid changing diapers without feeling like an assh....while being a total assh....

It is also 100% guaranteed that women will love it even more than men do...

"WHY," you might be wondering, "would women approve of men not helping out with the diapers?"

Send me 50 bucks for the full report, and you'll find out. Your man won't find out till it's too late, and THAT's even better than a money-back promise.

Agreed Vraith - while one might imagine than normally shall we say [staying with the 'tackle' analogy], the size of the rod would be proportionate to the size of the.... reels.... there is no *a priori* reason for assuming this always to be the case. Though indeed the paper in question seemed to refer the 'attachments' I recall no mention of the fraudulent use of the Arab Strap........

Oh the hell with it - To where do I send the $50?
