Av, for your information, if I'm not mistaken, what counts for those lists are first day orders and pre-orders, there was even a thread about this. Well, let's hope we get a new SRD book soon so that you can join in :) Hopefully more of the Gap Cycle ^_^

That's brilliant!

I can't seem to find the actual list it's on. If you come across it can someone post a link. I'd like to see it with mine own eyes

I believe the author is given a head's up regarding upcoming lists. So it will probably be listed this Sunday?

I want a series set in the world of The Killing Stroke. Romeo, tell SRD to get on with it. ;)

I checked the lists, the newest one is till October the 12th so far (and supposed to be published in the newspaper on the 27th, if I understood correctly), so likely you're right, at least about the fact - but maybe a bit later.

Maybe we should suggest some horrible ideas... worked splendidly with the Chrons

How about Milos Taverner revived and becoming the main character?

If you check out www.locusmag.com/Monitor/category/bestsellers/ they have weekly bestsellers, and trends. As of today (10/25) they have best-sellers each week up to 10/21. Or you can go to www.nytimes.com/best-sellers-books/ which has them for "week of 10/27" and includes e-books.

I had thought there were longer lists (top 100) but I can't seem to find any online.

Cool!

I bought mine for my Nook. Plan to get a hard copy at some point to complete my collection.

Blazing my way through Last Dark! Halfway through Chapter 2! ;)

Okay, I finally found a link with Last Dark showing up in the bestsellers list. (Because they just put it up a few hours ago.)

www.locusmag.com/Monitor/2013/10/weekly ... 8-october/
Three titles appear on the extended USA Today list, the highest at #72 being Stephen R. Donaldson’s The Last Dark (Putnam). Further down are Veronica Roth’s Allegiant (Katherine Tegan) at #76 and Neal Shusterman’s UnSouled (Simon and Schuster) at #90.
Following that as a clue ...

www.usatoday.com/life/books/best-sellin ... ?ajax=true

Weirdly, #71 is The Shining ... yes, that one.

Not so weird - the Shining just had a sequel out.

Against All Things Ending had a sequel out!

I just thought it was weird that Last Dark was competing with books published decades ago. Ender's Game is in the top 10, too.

Actually, now that I think about it, both The Shining and The Last Dark are about dads having trouble with the wife and son.
