As a child and even today, I believe the only good marshmallow is one on the end of a pointy stick ,held over a camp fire and indeed is on fire. . Some where between brown and crispy black all fear is gone and there is perfection.

Love campfire marshmallows. It was always fun to see how long you can keep them on the stick in the fire



but to me the best marshmallow is in a mallomar or a smore.

I think at the end of The Last Dark, Thomas, Linden and Jeremiah should have meandered off to Smore Land
