Where the flower grows

It struck me that Covenant and Linden (and presumably Jeremiah) had the Land both inside themselves in the "waking" world, as well as in the Land itself. Remember the inner Andelain of TOT and WGW?

So how's this for a thought: the ultimate answer to the question of the Land's objective reality is that the Trinity (forgive me) made it objectively real in the end. They externalized their inner Andelains--inner landscapes accentuated to the stature of the Earth entire by the apotheosis of revelations all three had just undergone.

Now if the Laws of Life and Death were the Creator's self-command, the Law he gave to himself as it were (his autonomy), then what Law did the Trinity's self-command become in the reborn world? In the world before the World's End, the Creator cast down the Despiser to purify himself. But Covenant has chosen redemption instead--not to throw the Despiser out, but to contain him by his pure will. That means self-discipline--so somehow the discipline of Despite will serve to make the Law now into Despite's opposite. Remember, that opposition did not previously obtain, as neither did such between Despite and Love. But now Linden has answered Despite with Love by answering Love with the answer to Despite--this is her "unearned" knowledge.

So the new Law won't be open to fail like the old one, maybe. "While the restored Arch endures" might be forever, hopefully...
