on page 539 he says
a moment passed before he felt crawling on the sensitive parts of his skin; hiving insects; fornication. things that could bite or sting were on his scalp
i can only assume he meant my new found glossary word: formication. unless the insects were mating
what do you think? trivial i know but it seems strange
