Correct. Each (as you probably have figured out) is the viewpoint character of the chapter. The telling of the Gap saga requires this frequent perspective shift, sometimes overlapping - but never quite duplicating - the same events.

One of the things SRD deftly handles, enough to make this series a really fun read for me from this book onward.

Not only does he shift perspectives, but he arranges each perspective to be missing some important facts, or privy to private information, so that each character is making decisions from a very different standpoint.

There's so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
