I'm watching it. I think they've done the aging thing well. The story is less compelling this season. Though things might be just about to start picking up. I haven't read the books and just hope Claire's not going to get decaputated in the West Indies.

You're a machine Av!! I only know one other person who reads the volume of books you do! I truly am in awe of your ability! I'm a painfully slow reader, but am a dog with a bone .. I don't like to mix it up like you do. But there are times you can't get a particular book of a given series .. well in those cases you have no choice. But I don't like it lol ..
But kudos Av - it is amazing phenomena to me lol .. one I'd like to share .. (But alas .. not in this lifetime).

Mmmm... wonders what the drawbacks could possibly be? You burn water? (reading so intently that you forget about that egg you put on to boil?
Miss bus/train stops concentrating on what you're reading not when your stop comes along?
Constantly needing to defray? LOL

Dunno, didn't watch much of it. Was the Jamaica storyline---they left a lot out.
Also I have to do a lot of re-reading...I can't buy enough books, or they can't write them fast enough, to keep me in my favourite genre's etc. I don't have a "to be read" pile, I have a "read again" pile. I just cycle through most of my books every few years.

Well, I might wait several years for the next book to be released, only to finish it in a day or two. All the build-up, then several more years for the next book. If there even is one...Skyweir wrote:Mmmm... wonders what the drawbacks could possibly be?

Truth. But the places chosen to end each episode just get ya.Avatar wrote:Uh, it's not like you don't know what's going to happen Menolly.
And neither SD nor Dam-sel have read the books, so I need to clamp my mouth shut at each cliffhanger.
ayeup. But I don't have Starz. I have another source for the shows, but I don't get them until after each season is shown. So, it will be awhile before I see season 4.Avatar wrote:(Season 4 is out now apparently.)
