Why can't all book chat be like this? I'd have liked the books more if Softy had illustrated them.Frostheart Grueburn wrote:Well this is not a Cornish beach.
We Swordmainnir, particularly Stonemage, felt that the conversation has concentrated too much on the femmes fatales, so Exalt here volunteered to pose for ladies and gents alike.

I keep thinking that the muscle in Exalt's right leg, just above his kneecap (the vastus medialis, I believe) is actually an overly pendulous and somewhat displaced giantish testicle...
Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"
Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them

And that reminds me of a song that the rugby club choir used to sing (I was their official accompanist)
...............can you tie them in a knot, can you tie them in a bow, can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier.............etc.
Sorry!

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Hee hee! Our swim team used an adult version of that [which it seems something similar you are pointing at/apologizing for].Iolanthe wrote:And that reminds me of a song that the rugby club choir used to sing (I was their official accompanist)

Not in front of the fans and coaches of course...
My niece learned the "nice" version at a camp when she was 5-ish.
Cracked me up so much, whenever she was in trouble while I was babysitting her she'd sing it to make me laugh.
Apparently ALL girl and boy camps in the u.s. learn it.

the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Perhaps Frosty should re-style herself as 'Eskimo Nell'

Winter is coming! We must warm ourselves somehow while three meters of snow sprawl outside and the arctic air freezes even campfires.
I would feel a mite sorry for michaelm for tarnishing his thread, if he did not possess the exact same sense of humor.

I am afraid I must bust these myths and inform the general audiences that the Giantish reproductive organs are located in the standard fork. No extra legroom. Elsewise the males might be more fertile.TheFallen wrote:I keep thinking that the muscle in Exalt's right leg, just above his kneecap (the vastus medialis, I believe) is actually an overly pendulous and somewhat displaced giantish testicle...
Well, you could start a thread in the gallery. One never knows what might turn up, even in the form of Bad Illustrating. Why can't all book chat be like this? I'd have liked the books more if Softy had illustrated them.
Three rounds of spanking for utilizing the Forbidden Name, however.
Oh wait, but Ananda likes that, particularly with ur-vile masters. So much for that endeavor...

What? I'm staying very much in the limits of the strictest canon! Everyone kens the degree of SRD's adoration towards this extremely accurate cover that shows a perfect example of Giantish habiliments:
I'm afraid a part of this leaked earlier, but this illustration exhibiting a Swordmain training session from The Last Chronicles pursues the same trend. The cute Exalt with his charming smiles never fails to tickle the hearts of female readers, but in particular the larger Giantesses require an acquired taste à lá Hashi. 'Tis no coincidence that the Haruchai keep blushing and stuttering all the way through the storyline. Even Covenant has trouble holding his...horses.
