A rocker refrain if ever there was one

[Nb. On a few occasions before, and now when I tried to post this one from the 'quick answer box' on the page, instead of posting as per the button, I have been re-directed to the standard posting page and the text I had typed into the box has dissapeared. Has anyone else reported this glitch? It seems to be a recent phenominum.]

Nope, that's a new one on me. I was gonna ask if you used the preview button by accident, but then your text would still be there.

it's always possible I'm doing something [unconciously] wrong that causes it - but it's definitely happened a few times now.

peter calls the quick reply box the 'quick answer box' ... heh ... like replies are the answer to anything.

Edit: worked for me. (Chrome)

I've used the Quick Reply box almost exclusively during my nearly-six years on the Watch...mostly through IE.

How would I know for sure [but I do believe it's IE]; any way - like all problems, as soon as you look for it, it doesn't happen!

If you don't know, (and you're using a PC), then it's IE. :D

Go to the Help --> About menu option, and it'll tell you what version. :D

Look at the top left-hand side of your screen. See the line of words? "File - Edit - View - Favorites - Tools - Help". (Yours may vary slightly. ;) ) Click on Help. Then in the drop-down menu, click on "About Internet Explorer".

I think IE might have that menu bar turned off by default, these days.

Alt+H should bring it up if the menu bar isn't visible.

(Not that it matters either way...the Watch software is old enough that even IE6 probably runs it fine. :D )

Yeah - I think I'll leave it alone; I hate those menue bar things and once I get them up I have a devils own job getting rid of them ;).

there abouts yes.

on every picture we took with me on a ledge Julie kept telling me I was too far out. and a teen girl on crutches would then go out further than I was. I was actually worried for the girl, as she hopped about, mere inches from certain death. I wonder how many people have actually fallen in?

Julie is terrified of heights. I have no such phobias. I do hate cockroaches beyond reason though.

this seems a good a place as any. I know the modship has been a ceremonial thing. but I do cherish it. and I have not been on here much as of late. hoping that Julie can fix that.

but I miss you guys when I am not here. I am so very glad that I am a part of this weird, wonderful group of people.

that is it. continue on.

BTW, null I never congratulated you on becoming a mod.

Mainly because I just didn't notice.

And I didn't have any idea that it would be a big deal since I can't think of one reason why you couldn't be one.

Seriously, when they made me a mod then they proved they'd let anyone do this job. :-)

Anyway its like 3 years late but congrats.
