Where is Cail?

Post by SerScot »

I haven't seen him post in some time. Is he okay, taking a break? Anyone know?

I noticed about a week ago that he hadn't been around for a while. If he doesn't come back soon, I'm going to slip back into some of my old slack liberal habits!

Someone mentioned it wasn't the road trip. But he definitely said he was gonna be away for a while...damned if I can find the post though.

Hee...yea. He's consistently high quality, high-level thought. [even when he's completely wrong, and even though he can't stand my style.]

Yea Av. I went looking, too, cuz I know this isn't his bike-trip thing from earlier in summer. But I was sure there was something about he was gonna be missing? Can't find it.

I don't see what all the panic is about?

All you need do is put out a saucer of Maker's Mark by the back door, next to a Cohiba cigar and a pile of back issues of Harley Davidson Monthly and he'll soon come running...
Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them

Okay, let's try this thing. Let's put out some Cail bait and see what happens...

Your Cail bait didn't work. You'll have to try harder TheFallen!

I'm tempted to try a few ignorant 'liberal' statements like:
  • - guns are bad

    - abortion is right

    - socialism is wonderful

    - the US Constitution is a living document

    - Trust Big Government, it's is better for us all

    - free market capitaism is just greed in disguise

    - raise taxes

    - Obama is a much better President than George W. Bush

    - censorship is sometimes necessary for the sake of the children

    - Libertarianism is a childishly simplistic ideology

    - Ayn Rand was a nutjob*
:hide:

u.

* This one is a pure joke as I have no idea what Cail thinks of Rand, and I actually do think she's a nutjob.

Good to know that if I ever vanish mysteriously, some people will miss me.

Got a lot on my plate right now between work, home life, and a very sick father. Frankly, I'm so disgusted with the state of the country right now that it's just disheartening to continue to dwell on it.

It is depressing to look at how our country is being mismanaged. There is a ton of stuff I think about posting, but I get the feeling that there's no point. I had to take a break for a few weeks last year about this time. Maybe I'll join you.

Yeah, you'd definitely be missed. I started going through the older threads to make sure I didn't say anything to piss you off. Glad it wasn't me.

I hope your father gets better.

Those are important things; the Tank is not. Yes, I know I am the mod here and I probably shouldn't say things like that but I am also a realist--my parents aren't getting any younger or healthier, either.

We will still be here when you are able to get back.
